Lessons for All Ages
Younger students benefit from working with method books designed to teach reading music along with the development of proficiency on their instrument. In addition, I believe it's important to give young players the opportunity to choose songs they want to learn, so I create a balance between the method book and student-selected material. Young beginners will benefit most from 30 minute lessons.
\Working with adults who wish to learn a new instrument is one of my favorite opportunities. It's important to me that my adult students assist in planning their musical path. If you want to learn to read music, we can do that. (On piano, this is pretty much a given.) For guitarists and ukulele students, you may choose to just jump right in and learn the chords for your favorite songs. For adult beginners, 30 minute lessons are also the best choice.
If you're interested in performing in a talent show setting, church band, or any other venue, I can work with you to improve your skills. My students have won scholarships to music camps and colleges, have placed in local talent competitions, and have gone on to play in praise and worship bands.
All lessons are $25.00/30 minutes if taken at my home in Carrollton, Georgia. If you are interested in the Newnan location, please visit the link below for Musicology of Newnan.
As students advance, they often benefit from an hour lesson. Hour lessons are $40.00, if taught in Carrollton. At both locations, students pay for the month. This guarantees them a lesson slot each week. Skype lessons are available. Please contact me to discuss this option.
